Mrs. Gretta Mae Ashton
Mrs. Gretta Mae Ashton, 19, died Sunday at her home, 124 Topeka, following a short illness. She was born August 8, 1920, in Topeka and had been a resident here all of her life.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Ashton; one son, Joseph Ashton, Jr., both of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Mobley; three brothers, Vern Spiker, Ernest and Wilbur Mobley; three sisters, Mrs. Leona Colbert, Thelma and Betty MOBLEY; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. McFarren, all of Topeka.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Penwell's Funeral Home, with interment in Topeka Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the home, 124 Topeka Avenue, until Wednesday morning.
