Delphine Tomes Brown, age 95, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (January 13, 2023) at Springview Health and Rehab in Leitchfield.

She was born on October 16, 1927 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Gillard and Effie Farris Tomes
Delphine lived her life shining a light of love & faith onto those who knew her. Even through her final years of health challenges, never did she lose her strong faith, her caring spirit or a loving heart for family, friends and those whom she met. Although she has left us for her Heavenly home, her legacy will live on in those she touched and future generations of her family to come.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Brown; three brothers, Everett, Raymond & Eddie Tomes; two sisters, Goldie Belkey and Marie Culbreath; and a son-in-law, Leo Mudd.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (January 18, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
