Antonio L. Chavez "Tony" , age 80, passed away on Sunday December 11, 2022.
Visitation will be held at The Chapel, 1500 Thornton Street, Thursday December 15, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with Rosary to follow at 6:00 pm, Funeral Services will be held on Friday December 16, 2022, at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 108 Davis Street with Father Franklyn Iwuagwa officiating.
Juan Lopez, RJ Lopez, Tony Chavez III, Nat Chavez, JC Pacheco, Ellie Chavez, and Alicia Lopez will serve as pallbearers.
Antonio was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he loved dancing the jitterbug. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
Survivors include his wife; Martha Chavez of the home, sons; Stephen Chavez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tony Chavez Jr of Lubbock, TX, daughters; Ruth Sena of Clovis, NM, Debbie Lopez (Rito) of Clovis, NM, brother; Luis (Pio) Chavez, of Albuquerque, NM, grandkids; Alicia Lopez, Juan Lopez, RJ Lopez, Tony Chavez III, Nat Chavez, Ellie Chavez, JC Pacheco, great grandkids; Xavier Williams, Kiana Williams, Gabby Basped, Brandon Holt Jr, Bella Lopez, Savvy Chavez, Skylar Hamilton, Charly Hamilton, Jett Hamilton, and Ricky Hamilton.
He is preceded in death by parents; Senovio Chavez and Juanita Chavez Salazar, brothers; Juan Chavez, Joe Chavez, Ermino Chavez, Senovio Chavez Jr, and sister Marcela Chavez.
