Funeral services for Mrs. Priscilla Lockhart Abbott, 77, of 2215 Roosevelt Street, who died Wednesday at her son's residence on Old Port Isabel Road, were to be held at 4:30 p.m. today at the First Presbyterian Church with burial in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

Mrs. Abbott, a native of Whiteside County, Illinois, had resided in the Valley since 1919 and in Brownsville since 1928.

She was a 50 year member of the Merton Chapter of the O.E.S. in Fulton, Illinois and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church here.

Surviving are two sons, Freddy and Donald Abbott, both of Brownsville; a daughter, Mrs. Fred L. James of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were to be D. E. Adams, Charles Bracht, Les Hodgson, Uriah Slegman, Ricky Trimble, and Harvey Hardee.
