Walter F. Coho Jr., 89, of Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Walter Sr. and Hazel (Forney) Coho.

Walter was a police officer with the Logan Township Police Department, retiring after 28 years of service. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
A private viewing will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Alto-Reste Park. Arrangements are by Anthony P. Scaglione Funeral Home, 1908 Seventh Ave., Altoona.
