Catherine (Amick) Clark was the wife of Lorenzo Dow Clark and mother of 10 children. She passed away in 1870 and buried on the homestead in Clark cemetery alongside her beloved husband LD.

Research on Catherine indicates that the date of death could very likely be incorrect. Her husband remarried in April of 1870. This indicates either she wasn't legally married to her husband or that her husband committed polygamy. Neither of these theories, given the stature of the Clark family are very probable and due to the time frame, but are possible.
