PHELPS—Eugene, Worden, 61, resident of Phelps for 22 years, died Monday morning, at the Clifton Springs sanitarium. He had been ill about a month and recently underwent a surgical operation.
Mr. Worden was born at Rose Valley and prior to coming to Phelps had lived in Niagara Falls.
Survivors were his wife and one daughter, Florence, two sisters, Mrs. H. C. Kise, of Clyde, and Mrs. W. M. Rising, of Newark; there brothers, Charles and Albert, of Phelps, and Fred, of Coldwater.
His funeral services were held at the Worden home in Banta Street with the Reverend C. H. Wood, minister of Phelps Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Interment was at South Lyons Cemetery.
