As he battled cancer, he was well known for his YouTube cancer journey #FrakCancer. When getting his treatments at the center he was always asking and encouraging other patients getting treatments. Charles has donated his body to science to further the research and treatment of esophageal cancer. He was our Gentle Giant and left a warming impression to everyone he met. Our world is less bright without him.
Charles is survived by his mother Linda Short of Lubbock, brother Thomas Short of Lubbock, and sister Marcie (Short) Buck of Florida, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Homa Ray Short.
