Hetty Ambrose was born 26 November 1847 in the parish of Llanegwad, Carmarthenshire, Wales and died on 4 October 1921 in South Langhorne, Bucks County, Pa. following a road accident. She married John Rees on 15 February 1875 in Llanelly,Carmarthenshire, Wales.
Sister of Thomas Ambrose (1852-1900) and Isaac Ambrose (1860 - 1929) both also immigrants to Philadelphia.
