Clara Jean Sipe, age 92, of Taylorsville, passed away December 25, 2022, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, following a brief illness,
She was born February 20, 1930 in Alexander County, to the late James O. Drum Sr. and Mamie Abernathy Drum.
She was a member of Saint Luke Lutheran Church in Alexander County.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Diann Stocks; sisters, Hazel, Dorothy, Ruby, Frances, and Helen; and brothers, Jerry, Earl, and Grover.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Alexander Funeral Service, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
The funeral will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Saint Luke Lutheran Church, at 1:00 pm.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
