The death occurred at her home in Plattsville on Thursday last of Mrs. Shantz, beloved wife of A.E. Shantz, at the age of 55 years. She had been ill for the past few months. The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Boehmer, former proprietors of the Commercial Hotel here and later of Haysville. Besides her sorrowing husband she leaves three sons and several brothers and sisters to mourn her demise. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon, interment being made in Riverside Cemetery here.
