Alice Annie Rodgers, age 87, of Sumpter, died Wednesday, December 21 at the Bradley County Memorial Hospital. She was born October 5, 1907 at Sumpter, a daughter of the late Shelby William Beasley and Ira Lou Hickman Beasley.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Martins Chapel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Troy Rodgers whom she married December 23, 1925 at Warren; one son; one daughter; one sister, Mrs. Arthur Baker of Crossett; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, December 23, at Frazer's Chapel by Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. David Ashcroft. Rev. and Mrs. Cary Moore sang. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery at Sumpter by Frazer's Funeral Home.
