Elizabeth was the last child of Johan Daniel Rumpel and Maria Magdelena Bieber. She married Jonathan Enos Brosier, youngest child of Johan Peter Brosius and Maria Elizabeth Reitz. They married Dec 16 1832 when Elizabeth was just 14. They lived in Butler County and Shelby County, OH and had 8 children total. Old histories claim that Jonathan went to TN for a business deal and died there abt 1853, but there is no record of his death or grave. Elizabeth moved with her children to Carroll County IN by 1860, near to other relatives. On Nov 1 1860, she married Peter Castetter, widower of Elizabeth's sister Mary. Peter died in Nov 1861, leaving Elizabeth pregnant with their daughter Laura. Elizabeth then married Lewis Lenon in 1864, and is found living with him in Cass County with her son Jonathan and daughter Laura. They must have divorced prior to 1875, as Lewis remarried and Elizabeth reverted to Castetter on her 1880 census. Laura married Val Thompson in 1862. They are found living in Jefferson County, Arkansas in 1900, shortly after Elizabeth's death.
