Calvin Wade Cutshaw, age 74, of Toledo, OH, went to be with the Lord March 28, 2022 after a long illness. He was born June 17, 1947 in Toledo, OH to Eugene and Willie Mae Cutshaw.

Calvin graduated from Woodward High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Army. He was a skilled mechanic and welder owning his own shop at one time, but ultimately retiring from ODOT where he made some great friendships along the way. He enjoyed many things through different stages of life from boxing, chess, camping, attending and volunteering in church activities with his loving wife Sandra (Sam), coaching kids basketball, riding his motorcycle, golfing and spending time with his family, especially his "kids". He would most like to be remembered as a "great" golfer. His family and friends however, will remember him as a man's man, feisty and tough but also a compassionate, loving family man and faithful friend, US Army SGT Combat Veteran, proud patriot, and an awesome golfer!

Calvin is survived by his son, Robert (Erica) Cutshaw, daughter, Candace Williams (David Fay); grandchildren, Seancy Schnapp and Aiden Cutshaw; great granddaughter Shayna; and sister Carlene (Steve) Loney. He was a special uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Sam; siblings James Cutshaw, Sandra McCoy, and Constance Halterman.

The family will receive friends at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd Saturday, April 9th from 2-4pm with a service including Honor Guard at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Wounded Warrior Project®.
