Barbara Kay Taylor
OTTAWA – Barbara Kay Taylor, 63, of Ottawa, died 1:50 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2022 at her residence. She was born April 10, 1959 in Bowling Green to the late Clark and Lou (Adams) Jordan. On November 20, 1974, she married Larry E. Taylor, who preceded her death on December 29, 2013.
Survivors include three children: Valerie Taylor, Wendell Taylor and Timothy Taylor, all of South Carolina; five grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and four siblings: Donna Paxton of Deshler, Bobby Joe Jordan of Continental, Phyllis Stevens of Ottawa and Billy Joe Jordan of Ottawa.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Dearl Jordan, Cecil "Rocky" Jordan and infant Wendell Jordan.
Barbara attended Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora. She enjoyed puzzles, bingo and playing cards. Barbara loved flowers and was an avid fan of Loretta Lynn and Elvis music. She also loved playing handheld games with her grandchildren and going on late night adventures with her family and friends.
A joint service for siblings Cecil "Rocky" Jordan and Barbara Kay Taylor will begin 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Pastor Matthew Yoder officiating. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022 and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
