Memorial based on the grave marker and the following obituary published in the Mobile Register (Mobile, Alabama) September 15, 1972, page 54.

MRS. LUCILLE BOLDEN - A native of Greensboro, Ala., resident of Prichard, Ala., passed at 135 Lorraine Ave. Friday Sept. 8, 1972. Visitation Friday Sept. 15, from 5 p.m. till 12 p.m. from the Azalea Funeral home. Funeral service will be held Saturday from the chapel at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. C.H. Peterson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery*. Her survivors are daughter, Mrs. Hattie Jumper; son, Columbus Briggins; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Alice Briggins, all of Prichard, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four nieces, six nephews and a number of other relatives and friends. Azalea Funeral Home 352 State Street at Claiborne has charge of arrangements.

*Burial discrepancy - the Mobile Register obituary (September 15, 1972) lists interment at Oaklawn Cemetery; a grave with vault was located in Plateau Cemetery on 12-10-2022.
