EMMA PAPWORTH KEMP
Crescent - Mrs. Emma Papworth Kemp, 84, Lynwood, Cal., died Monday at 5:40 p.m. at the home of a son here, of causes incident to age.
Mrs. Kemp was born December 10, 1853, in London, England, a daughter of James and Elizabeth Tavenor Papworth. She had lived in Crescent for the past five months.
Surviving are eight sons, William, Samuel T., Harvey and Fred G. Kemp of Crescent; Lawrence D. and Earl Kemp of Salt Lake City; Richard Kemp of Murray and Marvin Kemp of Los Angeles; a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Fairbourn of Crescent; a sister, Mrs. Clara Hadlock of Lynwood, Cal., 41 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted in Crescent L.D.S. ward chapel at 1 p.m. Friday by Bishop Homer Jaynes. Interment will be in Crescent cemetery.
Friends may call at [Deseret Mortuary] 36 East Seventh South street, Salt Lake City, Wednesday and Thursday, and at the home Friday prior to the services.
