Crescent - Joseph Arthur Lancaster, 74, 9800 S. 300 West, Crescent, died Saturday of natural causes at his home. Born Feb. 2, 1892, to Hyrum J. and Mary Ann Goff Lancaster in Crescent. Married Olga Emella Sjoblom, June 28, 1916, Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died May 9, 1964. Retired farmer, charter member Crescent Lions Club. Survivors: son, Melvin A., Crescent; daughters, Mrs. Lee (Marjorie) Kearns, Sunnyvale, Calif.; Mrs. K. (Norma) Robison, Cottonwood Heights; brother, Willard, Afton, Wyo.; sister, Mrs. John (Grace) Snow, Santa Cruz, Calif.; 15 grandchildren. Funeral Wednesday noon, Crescent Ward LDS Chapel. Friends call Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday prior to services. Burial in Crescent City Cemtery.
