A truck-train crash at the Good Faith crossing on the Cotton Belt Railraod about 2 miles south of Pine Bluff on Friday morning, claimed the lifes of James Rushing age 32, and his two children, Jeanece Rushing age 10, and Carl Lyn Rushing,age 8, and his Uncle Jack Rushing, age 40.

James Rushing and his two children crossed the R/R tracks to pick his Uncle Jack up, and was about to cross the tracks again when they were hit by the Train. They were on their way to take the children to school and then on their way to work also.

James and his two children were members of Olive Street Baptist Church of Pine Bluff, Ark.

Jeanece Rushing was born on May 22, 1957 at Jefferson Hospital to the late James Edward Rushing and Lillian Robinson Rushing.

Jeanece was a student at Owen Elementary School at Watson Chapel.

Survivors was her mother, Lillian Robinson Rushing of Watson Chapel, grandparents, Havis and Maysel Donaldson Robinson of Star City, and William Thomas (Tom) and Lillian Owen Rushing of Calmer.

Funeral services for Jeanece Rushing were conducted on Monday morning November 13, 1967, at Olive Street Baptist Church with Rev. Jackie Holt, and Kenneth Wafford.

Burial was in Holly Spring Cemetery, Hwy 54 E, Lincoln County, Star City, AR.
