John Fennen who was born in Germany in 1820 passed away at his home on North Carver St.,Sunday.
He enlisted in 81st Ohio Reg during the Civil War.
His wife who had dressed like a man during the war and
who served along side him,is 86 years old,and they had been married over 50 years. He was buried in the
Soldiers Circle in South Park.
