Full name was Eudell Piercefield Guthrie. He was twin brother of Eugene Piercefield Hunter. Twins were given up for adoption when they were babies. Birth father was Jefferson Sterling Willis (proof from DNA testing) and Harriet Anna Amos Piercefield. Dale was adopted by Louis Elihu Guthrie and his wife Elsie Hunter Guthrie and was raised in Connersville, IN. He married Helen Margaret Nelson Oct. 20, 1937 in Connersville. Family moved to CA in the late 1950s and lived in Thousand Oaks. They separated in the 1960s and Helen moved to Hemet, California. She died in 1986.
