Bernice M. Sherfey, born December 24, 1912. At 5:30 P.M. on February 13, 2008, as her family held her hands and prayed to God to open his arms to her as Mother and Grandmother stepped into them. Now she can hear, see and walk, with no more pain. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survived by her seven children, 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. The love she had for all of them was unsurpassed and the children and their families were her life. She was concerned and prayed for them continually. We love you Mom, Grandmother and will miss you. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 17, 2008, EVERGREEN MORTUARY. Graveside service 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 18, 2008, EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile.
