Died at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 1977, at West Calcasieu-Cameron Hospital, Sulphur. He was 77, a native of Gloster, Miss., former resident of Baton Rouge and resident of Lake Charles. He was a retired employe of Davis Wholesale Drug Co., Baton Rouge, and a veteran of World War I.

Body at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, with visiting from 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. O.B. Beverly. Burial in Roseland Cemetery, Gloster.

Survived by one son, Percy V. McPherson Jr., Lake Charles; one sister, Mrs. Newell Berggren, Kenner; one brother, V.G. McPherson, New Orleans; three grandchildren.
