Funeral Mass for Lucy Beyer Steffek, 92, of Bartlett were held Nov 5 at 10 AM at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger with Rev Isidore Ndagizimana officiating. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery. She died Wednesday Nov 3.

Lucy Beyer Steffek was born in Schwertner on May 14, 1912 to Maxamillian Beyer & Julie Tschoerner Beyer. On Oct 8, 1940, she married Joseph A Steffek.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and all her brothers & sisters: Albert, Willie, Edwin, Adolph, and Alex Beyer; Hattie Polasek, and Gertrude Michna.

She is survived by her four sons, Billy Joe Steffek of Oatmeal, Daniel "Doc" Steffek of Bartlett, Ronnie Steffek of Granger, and Ricky Steffek of Granger; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

Goodnight Funeral Home was in charge.
