Everett Wayne Gasaway, age 83, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Monday November 21, 2022. Everett was born in Washington DC to the late Forest and Mary (Taevin) Gasaway. Everett was a veteran of the US Navy and was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the US Submarine Veterans, Hoosier base. He was a longtime member of Allisonville Christian Church and a member of the Jubilee masonic Lodge 762. Everett pastored a southern Baptist Church in Whiteland, IN before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen and his granddaughter, Tori.
Everett leaves behind his wife Sharon Spaulding-Gasaway; his children, Tony Gasaway (Debbie), Donnell Gasaway and stepchildren, Rachel Hardin (Greg), Larry Hardin (Auhsha); grandchildren, Caitlin and Patrick and Tone'; his great grandchildren, Demaris and John and JoJo.
A celebration of life will be held at 4 pm Thursday December 1, 2022 at Allisonville Christian church, 7701 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN. The family will receive guests from 2pm until time of service at 4pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Allisonville Christian Church. Everett will be buried in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
