Susan Adamson of Douglas County, Illinois, was called to Fayetteville because of a illness her daughter, Varena Rachel Adamson Pierce, lived near Avoca, Indiana. Recorded by (Bedford Daily Mail on Saturday, 8 May 1920, pg. 3)


She is on the 1920 census with her son Walter in Douglas County, Illinois

In 1924 she is mentioned in her sister Elizabeth's obituary as being alive and living in Illinois.

When Susan Virginia Boyd was born in December 1852, in Bedford, Shawswick Township, Lawrence County, Indiana, United States, her father, William Murrel Boyd, was 35 and her mother, Lucinda Ann Evans, was 39. She married Marshall Frank Adamson 13 April 1874, Lawrence County, Indiana, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. (1-15-24 I found 7 children. The infant is not yet sourced but a very nice marked photo was uploaded at one time)
