Donna Rose Vann, 69, passed away Wednesday morning at her home.
Donna was born January 18, 1948 in Johnston County to the late Robert Preston and Etta Barbee Rose. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and always looked forward to times together to visit with each other. Donna loved fishing and would make every effort possible to be out on the lake casting her rod in hopes to catch that perfect fish. She was loved by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the Bethany and Friends cemetery on the Wayne/Johnston County line at the intersection of Richardson Bridge Road and Stevens Mill Road.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Lorina Wiggins Nowell of Lucama; sons, Robert Wiggins and wife Terry of Angier; Rufus Ray Wiggins, Jr. and wife Angie of Kenly, Ricky Allen Wiggins of Kentucky; grandchildren, Amber Wakefield, Brandon Wiggins, Christian Wiggins, Heather Wiggins, Ashley Wiggins; three great grandchildren, Nathan and Chloe Wakefield, and Alexandra Wilkerson; sister Betty Hamm; brothers, Robert Rose and Rev. Wayne Rose.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel Daniels, Martha Landrum, and Linda Watson, and her brothers Randy and Melvin Rose.
