Born in Fredericton, she regularly returned to New Brunswick to visit family and friends.
She was predeceased by her father Eugene Rideout, her mother Dorothy Eileen (née Tompkins), and her nephew Anthony Rideout. Anne's twin passions were her family and her faith. Throughout her life she cared for many aging family members. An avid genealogist, she collected their stories and shared the family lore. An active member of St Maurice Parish for over forty years, Anne was a Lay Associate of the Companions of the Cross, a Spiritual Mother of Priests, and a member of the CWL.
