Shirley Amos McFaddin, age 86, passed away on November 25, 2022, at her residence in Glasgow, VA.
She was born April 3, 1936, in Pittsylvania County to the late Viola Mae Eanes and the late Lorenzo Paul Amos.
She was married to the late Ralph Owen McFaddin and the late Danny James McFaddin.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was also predeceased by five brothers, one sister, and two grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Dale McFaddin (JoAnne) and Mark McFaddin (Wendy), both of Callands, VA, a daughter, Susan McFaddin, also of Callands; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and a special friend and caregiver, Mary Gold Parrent.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Danville Memorial Gardens with Rev. Eddie Collins officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, from 6 to 8:00 pm at Norris Chatham Chapel. The family will also receive friends at other times at the residence of her son, Dale McFaddin. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations can be made to Callands Fire & Rescue Department, 11741 Callands Road, Callands, VA 24530. Norris Funeral Services in Chatham, Va. is serving the family.
