John O'Sullivan Dead- Husband of Ann (Carval) O'Sullivan
Died at his home near Twin Mound, Kansas on Monday, January 16, 1899, John O'Sullivan, aged 67 years, 9 months, and 1 day.
John O'Sullivan was born in the county of Cork, Ireland, April 15, 1831. Leaving there with his parents when he was six years old for London, England. What education Mr. John O'Sullivan received, he acquired in London from which place, at the age of twenty-one, he emigrated for America stopping a short time in Massachusetts. Later he located at Urbana, Ohio, and engaged in the tannery business. During his residence in Ohio, on the 1st day of August, 1855, he married Miss Anna Carvill, who for over two score years shared his joys and sorrows, and survives to mourn his loss.
John O'Sullivan was one of the pioneers of Kansas, having pre-empted the land on which he resided until his death...
Deceased leaves a family of nine children, all of them grown, of whom five, W. O.,James, George, Annie , and Charlie, live at Twin Mound; Edward lives in Chicago; Highland [Hilan] and Ella-Mrs. Albert Neese, reside in Richmond, Kansas, and Mary-Mrs. C. H. Redmon, lives in Overbrook. After the funeral the remains were interred in the Rock Creek cemetery.

*Bio. Anna (Sullivan) Ingleman:
Mrs. Ralph Ingleman of Des Moines, Iowa, formerly of Overbrook, Kansas, died August 28, following several weeks illness. Miss. Anna May O'Sullivan, was born, August 1,1876, Douglas County, Kansas to John O'Sullivan and Anna Carval. She grew to womanhood in Overbrook, Kansas, and was married there in 1902, to Ralph Ingleman. Mrs. Ingleman lived in or near Overbrook, Kansas until 1920 when the family moved to Des Moines, Iowa.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Ingleman, two daughters, Nadine and Lois Ingleman, a son, John Wayne Ingleman of Overbrook and a brother, George O'Sullivan[1863-1946] of Richland, Kansas. A daughter, Helen died several years ago.
