Jean was born in the Philippines to Marcelino and Carmelita Lusabia on July 18th, 1960. She married Joseph Anthony Augello III on September 1st, 1988 in Falls Church, VA. She graduated from cosmetology school and worked as a hair stylist for the Hair Cuttery until 2015. In addition, she worked as a part-time worker at Heritage Christian School in Woodbridge, VA.
Jean Augello was a caring mother, a devoted wife, and a loving grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph; her four cherished sons and their wives, Joseph (Macy), Christopher (Linoska), Marcelino (Heather), and Benjamin (Virginia); her two beloved grandsons, Joey and James; and her family in the Philippines (consisting of eight brothers and sisters).
The family of Jean Augello wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Stephen Liu of Georgetown University Hospital, the Nurses and Nurses' aids of Capital Caring, the friends and members of Heritage Baptist Church, and Kristi Tangeman, who was Jean's full-time caretaker. Lastly, we thank all who poured out their love, time, and support over these past seven and a half years.
