CHARLES E., age 80, of 2814 West Dale Road NW, died Monday morning in Timken Mercy Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Firestone was born in Middlebranch March 10, 1890. He was retired from Firestone & Matter as a senior partner three years ago. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He is survived by his widow, H. Renee (Staub) Firestone; a daughter, Mrs. Richard H, (Jeanne) Elder and a son, Charles Earl Firestone II, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor James Serviss officiating. The body will be in state at the church one hour before services Wednesday. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery Masonic services will be held at 6:45 p.m. by Canton Lodge No. 60 F & AM. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, Canton YMCA Camp Tippecanoe Endowment Fund and the Stark County Historical Society.
