Wife: Louisa McCoy Kemp.
Son of Solomon Kemp.

Would like to know more about him...
Civil War soldier, Eli Easterwood, Company I 91st Indiana Infantry regiment, was originally buried on his land. When men from the Federal government came to re-inter Pvt. Easterwood to Marietta National Cemetery, there was no headboard on the grave which was surrounded by a rail pen of Pine tree poles.
It may be that Eli was buried on the land that belonged to S. "Camp" who lived there until 1866. The re-burials of Union soldiers took place in 1867 by which time Solomon died and perhaps the land was inherited by J. Berry Kemp.
