Mr. Franklin Larry Archer, 91, of Swainsboro passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mr. Archer was born July 2, 1931, in Emanuel County to Sam Archer and Lora Dickerson Archer. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 64 years, Yvonne Henry Archer; brothers, Buddy Archer, Chancey Archer, Bill Archer, J. B. Archer, Sammy Archer; sisters, Ruby Roberts, Annie Bell Lockhart, Bonnie Lou Johnson, Sallie Mae Woods, Kate Terry. Mr. Archer was a jokester and care provider for over 40 years. He enjoyed fox and rabbit hunting. Mr. Archer was a Deacon at Son Light Inn in Dellwood, where he also served as Elder.

Survivors include his son, Randy Archer (Karson) of Sevierville, TN; daughters, Gayle Archer Lee (Jim) of Twin City, Kathy Archer Bracewell (John) of Wears Valley, TN; 8 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2022, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Reverend Jamie Archer and Reverend George Archer officiating.
