He was the brother of Nancy, William, John B., Arron, Joseph B., Columbus F., and twin of James M., Sarah R., Mark E., and Johnathan. He was a half sibling to Jessie, Elizabeth F., Thomas, Martha, and Manerva Ella, by his father's third wife. Fountain was the father of George W. Dixon, born 1858.
