Age 76, of 471 Lihiliho St., Wailuku, Maui, passed away Jan. 15, 1975 at Queen's Medical Center. She was born Jan. 19, 1898, in Hobart, Indiana. She is survived by sister, Mrs. Gilberta Messick; brother, Clifford Barnes; nephews, Jay Messick and Lewis Davis; niece, Barbie Faibit; dearest friend, Mrs. Kathleen Tseu. Mrs. Barnes came to Hawaii in 1940. Here she taught ballet at the Y.W.C.A. until 1967. After her retirement she moved to Maui. Family requests that flowers be omitted.
