Age 89. Beloved wife and best friend to Vaux Adams for 66 years. Precious mother to Joan Lamb (Bob, deceased) and Vicki O'Connell (John). Cherished grandmother to Debra Ockerman (Ken), Mark Dreher, Christine Baker (Don), Michael O'Connell and Tracy Lamb (Chantal); and to five great-grandchildren, Justin, Alesha, Megan, Stephanie and Sabrina. She was preceded in death by her dear sister, Marie VanDusen and her loving brothers, Robert, Richard and Carl Walker. Irene was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Funeral Wednesday 1:30 p.m. at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, downtown Farmington (1 blk. W. of Farmington Rd.). Officiant Rev. Dr. Victor F. Halboth, Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, Redford.

Visitation Tuesday 3-8 p.m.

Interment White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Troy.
