Danny Ray Glenn, 61, of Lexington Road, Carlton, GA, husband of Patricia Sorrow Glenn, died Tuesday, November 23, 2004.
Born in Elbert County, he was a son of Louise Paul Glenn of Carlton and the late Fred W. Glenn. He was a member of the Carlton Baptist Church, the American Legion of Lexington, GA and retired former owner of Engineering & Cycle Company in Comer, GA.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Glenn of the home, his mother, Louise Glenn of Carlton; one son, Marty Glenn of Carlton, one brother Don K. Glenn of Carlton, one granddaughter, Alexis Glenn.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday at the Carlton Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Owens officiating. Entombment will be in the Carlton City Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 PM to lie in state until the hour of service.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Berry Funeral Home; and also receive friends from 1-2 PM Friday at the church prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Strickland, Mike Alewine, Jeff Glenn, Van Gunter, Phil Cashin, Stan Ogletree, Ricky Drew and Marshall King. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Jones, Clois Worley, Larry Seymour, Eddie Nelms, and Mike Khuns.
Flowers are optional and memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
