Atticus was born on January 4, 2001 in Gibson City, Illinois. He was the first-born son of Kris and Ginger Adams of Peoria, Illinois. He loved to play video games, fish, and watch TV. He loved his grandparents, Mary Ann and Karl Gottlieb and was a frequent presence in their lives.
Atticus died because he used drugs. He was an addict who was always chasing a high. That chase finally killed him.
He leaves behind his brothers, Aragorn, Hawkeye, and Caspian.
Surviving family members include paternal grandparents, Jim and Emily Adams; maternal grandparents, Karl and Mary Ann Gottlieb; great-aunt, Laurie Ann (John) Curtin; great-aunt, Cheryl (Dan) Flood; aunt, Kathy (Tom) Taylor; aunt, Kara (Carl) Guerry; and uncle, Kurt (Bethany) Gottlieb.
