Theron was the son of George Merrihew and Effie Pennington Merrihew. He married Ardis Losey on November 14, 1942 and recently celebrated 70 years of marriage.
Theron drove a truck for Fabiano Brothers for 32 years, retiring in 1989. Theron belonged to the 2 cylinder tractor club, collected John Deere tractors and participated in tractor shows around the county.
Theron is survived by his wife Ardis; children: Donald (Charlene) Merrihew of Mt. Pleasant, Marlene (Chuck) Tiedeman of Clarkston; 4 grand children; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Gale (Betty) Merrihew of Clio; sisters: Aletha Chaffee of Weidman, Zilpha Small of Smiths Creek, MI.
Theron was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rolland Merrihew; sister, Audrey Stanley.
