Lois attended Elwood Schools and was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Frankfort. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and reading in her later years.
Lois is survived by five children; two siblings; two nieces; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Patricia Black; son-in-law, Ralph Jones; two sisters, Irene Lamp and Phyllis Thomas; four brothers - Jack, James, Paul and Thomas; brother-in-law, John Cooksey; and granddaughter, Susanna Foster.
Visitation will be from 9-11 AM on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, IN. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM at the funeral home. Kevin Alber will officiate the service. Entombment will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
