Donald LeRoy Rife, age 92 of Troy, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County, Troy. He was born on June 22, 1929 in Uhrichsville, OH to the late William and Nina (nee Shuman) Rife.
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty; son, Scott Stewart; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Scott Stanze; son-in-law, Kenneth Hall; and siblings, Bill, Virginia, Alberta, Jenny and Vivian.
Those left to cherish Donald's memory include his loving wife, Patricia Rife of Troy; daughters, Belinda Hall of Troy and Deb Stein of Troy; sons, Steve Stewart of West Milton, OH, Doug Stewart of KY and Rob (Lisa) Stewart of Troy; sisters, Peggy Worley of Troy and Barbara Schere of Covington, OH; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Donald was a veteran of the United States Army. He also worked many years and retired from Dinner Bell Packing Company formerly of Troy, OH. He loved woodworking, fishing, gardening and training race horses.
