Anna W. Humphreys "Honey" 1921 ~ 2008

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Anna Williams Humphreys passed away January 11, 2008. She was born August 29, 1921 to John and Mary White Williams and raised in Lake Point, Utah. She attended and graduated from Tooele High School. She married R.A. "Jack" Humphreys on January 10, 1941 and together they had one daughter, Mary Jolene. After moving to Garfield and then Magna after Garfield was disbanded, Anna and Jack moved to Tooele where Jack opened Humphrey's Electric and Anna worked as a secretary at the Tooele Army Depot for 32 years. Ann loved golfing, bowling and Dancing. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Ladies of Elks.

Survived by her daughter, Jolene (Wayne) Nuesmeyer; grandchildren, Shawn Jacobsen, LoriAnn (Brad) Banyai, and Shawn Atkin; stepgrandchildren, Meraleen (Terry) Cain, Katrina (Jonathan) Long, Margaret (Paul) Westerhold, and Derrick Nuesmeyer; great-grandchildren, Kaley and Erik Banyai; and five step great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Stratford Special Care in Draper especially, Taga and Anna, and Sunbrook Hospice.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wed., Jan. 16, 2008 at the Masonic Temple in Tooele, Utah, 22 Canyon Rd. Friends and family may call Tues. 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, and Wed. 12-1p.m. at the Masonic Temple. Interment: Tooele City Cemetery. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation, Cancer Research, or the Shriner's Hospital.
