Characteristics of a Sagittarius: Born November 22nd-December 21st

Sagittarius are optimistic, lively, lovers of freedom, hilarious, fair-minded, honest and intellectual. They are spontaneous and fun, usually with a lot of friends, and are perhaps the best conversationalists in the zodiac.

George Charles Kaufman III was born to George II and Gwendolyn Kaufman on Dec 20, 1946 in New Orleans, LA. George was the oldest of 4 children, 1 brother and 2 sisters. He graduated from Hyde Park High School (Chicago) June of 1964 and obtained his AA from Kennedy King College. He enlisted into the United States Air Force Jan 1966 to serve his country and was honorably discharged Jan 1972.

During George's journey on Earth he obtained a leadership position on the railroad trains and in the yard for Chicago Transit Authority where he then retired in the early 2000's. He found peace in music. He was a soprano singer in an R&B group and as he matured, he was a collector of all the oldies but goodies records, tapes, CD's, but then streaming was beyond him as the Sagittarius in him would not allow him to buy anything but a flip phone! He loved the outdoors so much, he and his wife found a campsite property in Portage, IN called Jellystone Park, where they and his parents brought a piece of land, a trailer, and a golf cart together for the entire family to enjoy! He loved to swim and bike ride and taught all the children (didn't matter who's) how to swim and bike ride as well. He loved challenging the young guys to a game of basketball on the courts all the way until his late 40's! The young guys would come to our campsite looking for him just to hear him talk his stuff on the basketball court and they would tell us, "They just HAVE to beat him TODAY!"

On Oct 28th 2022 at 9p, God sent his Angel to carry him home, where his parents George II and Gwen, and his sisters Sharon and Shirley, preceded him in death. He shall now rest in peace with them forever.
