DANIEL M. BAIR
Formerly of 2701 Fairway Drive, died at 11:05 a.m. yesterday, February 16, 1975, at Altoona Hospital, after an extended illness. Mr. Bair retired in 1961 from the Pennsylvania Railroad as a car repairman. He was born May 1, 1896, in Shade Gap, a son of John C. and Etta (Fernberg) Bair, and was twice married, first to Evelyn Rosensteel and then to Frances (Rider) Painter, both of whom preceded him in death. Surviving are two sons, Stanley M. Bair of East Hampton, Conn., and Harold T. Bair of Mount Union; a stepson, Wallace C. Painter of Altoona; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Mr. Bair was a member of the Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church. Friends will be received in the William G. Bigelow Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

BAIR - Services for Daniel M. Bair, formerly of 2701 Fairway Drive, will be held in the William G. Bigelow Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Robert B. Gehibach. Interment in Saltillo Cemetery, Saltillo. Friends will be received in the William G. Bigelow Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
