ARNAUDVILLE ~ Funeral services will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 at a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church for Emile Landry, Jr., age 84, who passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas.

Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Grand Coteau.

Mr. Landry was a native of Grand Coteau and a resident of Arnaudville. He was self-employed as a brick mason and also retired with Gulf South Lumber and Hardware in Arnaudville. Mr. Landry enjoyed spending his spare time bowling, he loved working in his garden, and also had a great passion for wood work.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-six years, Barbara Landry of Arnaudville; one son, Kelly Landry and his wife, Cindy Hornsby Landry of Lafayette; two daughters, Cindy M. Landry of Lafayette, and Stacey Stelly and her husband, Anthony Stelly of Arnaudville; three Godchildren, Emily Hedden, Kristi Andrews, and Mark Stelly; two grandchildren, Carlie Landry and her fiancé, Trace Waguespack and Tyler Stelly and his wife, Kaylie Stelly; two great grandchildren, Vivian Robicheaux and Natalie Waguespack.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jules Emile Landry, Sr. and the former Clothilde Meche; and an infant brother, Joseph Rodney Landry.
