Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Maude (Birley) Muth, 53, wife of Lewis Muth, who died at her home at Monterey, near Blue Ridge Summit, Thursday morning, will be held Sunday afternoon at the home at 1:30 and further service at the Hawley Memorial church at 2:00 o'clock in charge of Rev. E. G. Conrad.
Mrs. Muth was born at Cascade, Md., the daughter of Lewis and Martha (Cline) Birely. She was a member of the Hawley Memorial church, Monterey, and is survived by her husband and these children: Emory L. Muth at home; Kenneth A. Muth of Charmian, Pa.; Wilbert Muth of Delair, N.J.; Mrs. John Brown of Monterey, Pa; Lee B. Muth of Harrisburg, Pa.; Margaret L. Muth, Lewis F. Muth and Gordon C. Muth, at home. Also, nine grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: John Birley of Fairfield, Pa.; Roy Birley of Blue Ridge Summit; Mrs. Benjamin Bakner of Tomstown, near Waynesboro, and Mrs. Carrie Flocker of Spokane, Wash.
