Mark A. Eichstadt passed away on November 15, 2011 in Corpus Christi. Mark was born on January 18, 1932 to Herman & Martha Eichstadt in Wolsey, South Dakota.

He resided in the Port Aransas and Corpus Christi area since 1986. He served his country in the U.S. Fair Force during the Korean War. Mark was a consulting engineer who owned and operated Eichstadt & Associates in Rockport.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Hyde Fahrion. He is survived by his wife, Janie Eichstadt of Corpus Christi; three sons, Mark Eichstadt, Jr. of Aztec, New Mexico, Jay Fahrion of Palm Springs, California, and Craig Fahrion of Minot, North Dakota; daughter, Kate Fischer of Phoenix, Arizona; one grandson, Chad Jones of Indiana; and several brothers, a sister and other relatives. A rosary will be recited on Friday, November 18, 2011, 6:30 p.m. at the Charlie Marshall Chapel in Rockport. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011, 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport.
