After almost 72 wonderful years filling those around her with love and Joy, Cathy McGrath has passed away. She leaves behind her husband, Lynn, whom she married in 1967 and shared many adventures. Together, they had four children. Cathy also leaves behind her sister, and six grandchildren, who she adored.

On April 17, 1946, Cathy Clark was born in Cedar Rapids Iowa to Paul and Katie Clark. She attended high school at George Washington Sr. High School and graduated in 1964. After high school, she met and married Lynn McGrath, the love of her life. For a short period, they lived in Des Moines, where they gave birth to their first child, Mike. In 1969, they moved to Colorado where she gave birth to Jim and Laura, and thrived as a mother and wife.

In 1974, the family moved to Mitchell, Nebraska and there gave birth to their youngest child, Beth. In Mitchell, Cathy finished nursing school and worked as an LPN for several years. However, Cathy always had a passion for arts and crafts and even opened her own shop for a period of time and sold much of what she made. Cathy was also passionate about her children. She attended countless football, baseball, softball, volleyball & basketball games (Secretly, she was very happy when her boys were done playing football).

In 1991, Lynn & Cathy moved to Las Vegas in pursuit of Lynn's career in construction, as well as warmer weather. Cathy continued to work in the medical field and also supported Lynn's business. However, her overwhelming love for arts and crafts was a source of constant inspiration, and she never stopped finding new hobbies and honing her skills.

In retirement, Cathy was free to devote all her time to the pursuit of her artistic endeavors and eventually opened up several online stores in order to continue selling all the amazing things she was able to make. This included quilts, pillows, buttons, ornaments, paintings, and much more. Cathy also loved spoiling her grandchildren, sometimes to the dismay of the parents, but always for the joy of the kids.
Cathy had a kind, loving heart and naturally brought happiness to those around her. She was a giving soul who wouldn't hesitate to make sacrifices for the wellbeing of others. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

There will be a private burial for Lynn and Cathy in Mitchell, Nebraska at a later date.
