Funeral services were held in Bouton-Hammitt Funeral Home in Princeville for Ralph D. Calef, 60, of Laura, with the Rev. Fred Reiner officiating last Monday. Burial was in Stringtown Cemetery near Duncan.

He was born at Duncan May 12, 1916, a son of Orville and Evelyn Gard Calef, and died Sat., June 12. He married Marjory Lucille Burch October 12, 1940, in Kahoka, Mo. She died August 1, 1975.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edison (Delores) Lutz of Edelstein and Mrs. William (Deanna) Kehlenbach of Arvada, Colo.; five grandchildren; one brother, Edward of Wyoming; and two sisters, Mrs. Zelda J. Thompson, East Peoria, and Mrs. Edna Fuller, Princeville.

Two sisters preceded him in death.

Mr. Calef was a retired machinist for Caterpillar Tractor Co.

He was a member of the United Methodist church of Fredericktown, Mo. and a veteran of World War II.
